I love They Might Be Giants. I figured we'd introduce Tomas to them soon (especially the CD "Birdhouse in Your Soul", a favourite of mine), but then we discovered that somewhere along the way they started doing children's songs.

So.

This has been on repeat in our house over the weekend:

Warning: CATCHY. Andrew and I kept finding ourselves humming or singing it hours after last played. "SHUT UP!" was a common refrain. LOL

John Lithgow - the comedian? Or as songs? Do tell. I'm sure I'll need more things for Tomas to watch as time goes on.

Heh. Andrew has been texting me lyrics today.

I'd rather have this song running through my head than some of the news lately - one story that I accidentally saw part of today made me cry in the train station. I'm still tearing up every time it pops into my head.

so yes, yes practice trumpet every day!
